The house is an original Council House and many of the traditional features have been kept (e.g. wooden single-glazed windows, gas fire, carpet with typical floral design in the living room, gas cooker with eye-level grill in the kitchen, pulley for drying clothes in the bathroom (in case it rains ;-); the bath room is completely new and includes bath tub with shower
